Dr. Heidi Finkelstein is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality dental care with a focus on comfort, trust, and long-term results. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Microbiology from the University of Central Florida and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Finkelstein also has prior experience in research associated with Cystic Fibrosis and H.I.V. She was also recognized by the Department of Diagnostic Sciences Division of Oral Medicine at NSU-CDM for her outstanding Case presentation. Heidi has also been qualified for fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, completing close to 500 hours of approved Continuing Education.

She is a longtime member of the Plantation Chamber of Commerce, and an active contributor to community medical planning.

Dr Finkelstein has been practicing since she graduated from Nova Southeastern University with her DMD in 2010.  She has been at this location for My Plantation Dentist since 2012.

Yes! Dr. Heidi is an expert in many different techniques and dental procedures. Our team will assist, and of course our hygienist will perform cleanings and routine assistance, but rest assured we do our own work and the dentist you see is Dr. Heidi.

A Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) is a licensed dentist who diagnoses, prevents, and treats conditions of the teeth, gums, and jaws, holding a degree that is identical in training and function to a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). A common misconception is that one holds more weight than another. In reality, it’s a naming choice any Dental school graduate can make.

We don’t like to brag, but Dr. Finkelstein is the most patient and caring dentist in Broward County. Our repeat patients will constantly tell us they’ve never felt more comfortable with a dentist visit than they do when they come to our office. So while you can get Invisalign from many other dentist offices, we doubt you’ll find another dentist more invested personally in the success of your treatment than us.
