Partials & Dentures

Dentures Can Help You Eat and Speak More Comfortably

Injury, gum disease or tooth decay can cause you to lose your teeth. When you've lost your natural teeth, it's important to replace them, both for your appearance and for your health. Dentures are removable dental appliances that can replace teeth, making eating and speaking easier, and restoring your smile. Dentures are an alternative for anyone who has lost some or all of their natural teeth and wishes to improve the appearance of their smile, help keep their facial muscles from sagging, and make eating and speaking easier. If you're just looking at a cracked tooth, bondings are what you need.

Today, dentures are more comfortable and closely resemble the appearance of natural teeth. Full dentures are used when all of the natural teeth have been lost. Partial dentures can offer a removable alternative to an implant or dental bridge & crown when some teeth have been lost rather than all.

With full dentures, the upper denture features a flesh-colored base that covers the roof of your mouth and fits over your gums. The lower denture is a horseshoe shape to allow space for your tongue. However, partial dentures attach to the surrounding natural teeth and rest on a metal frame.
