The Plantation Preserve Linear Trail is a beautiful recreational trail located within the Plantation Preserve Golf Course and Club area in Plantation, Florida. The Linear Trail is approximately 1.1 miles long and is an ideal location for individuals wanting to enjoy recreational activities while being immersed in nature but avoid a rigorous hike. The trail is perfect for individuals on a stroll, hikers, joggers, bikers, or even rollerblades and is open from dawn to dusk. Plantation Preserve Park and Linear Trail is home to a 50-acre passive park. There are two entrances, or trailheads, to the Linear Trail; one is located near the 70th Avenue and Broward Boulevard entrance, and the second trailhead is located right off of East Tropical Way. The trail is located on protected land allowing visitors to enjoy the wildlife that is free to roam the area as well as people. Additionally, there is a great playground perfect for young children, which is located at the North trailhead. Visitors are invited to enjoy swinging, climbing structures, and more playground fun. It should be noted that there is the only parking available at the golf course parking lot so guests should be sure to plan.
